AILSA ALEGRÍA HUERTA

Pronounced: eye-ill-suh

Hi! My name is Ailsa, I’m a content creator and creative strategist from Portland, Oregon, who specializes in social media strategy and production. When I’m not being chronically online, I am outside going on outdoor side quests and nerding out about music history and samples (I am also an aspiring DJ).

I am first-generation Mexican-American and carry my roots and the joy of my culture into my work and the way I approach projects, serving as a bridge between two different worlds. Spanish was my first language, and growing up speaking both English and Spanish broadened my perception of the world. I’m grateful that it’s opened me up to so many people from all walks of life and enhanced my range of perspectives and ideas.

As a storyteller, I aim to bridge the gap between people around the world and remind us that we are much more similar than different. I approach my work with a sense of curiosity and empathy, and am excited to build a world that is kinder and fun through my projects.

3. Thrifting

As a fashion & sustainability enthusiast, I always find myself at thrift stores or at thrifting events. I love the community aspect of thrifting in PDX too, so I always have the best time supporting local markets :)

4. Traveling

Costa Rica 2025: I got over my fear of heights, tried plantains for the first time (highly recommend), and explored the local towns. #PuraVida

I find so much inner-fulfillment by venturing out and expanding my horizons, even if it means I have to step outside of my comfort zone. Traveling and immersing myself into different customs worldwide has allowed me to gain a greater appreciation for humanity, mother earth, and the little moments in life.
